Nlyte 11.5 Provides Organizations Unprecedented Transparency Across All Critical Facilities Infrastructure Endpoints
EDISON, NJ – OCTOBER 13TH, 2020 -- Nlyte Software, a leading provider of hybrid digital infrastructure management (HDIM) software solutions, today announced the availability of Nlyte 11.5. The new release makes significant strides towards Nlyte’s vision of enabling organizations to manage all their computing infrastructure – from data centers to colocation facilities to public clouds and edge environments – using a single system. Providing a single solution across all infrastructure will give organizations using Nlyte greater transparency, increased cost efficiencies and improved uptime.
At the foundation of Nlyte 11.5, the company has established a partnership with leading infrastructure provider Carrier Corporation to provide Integrated Data Center Management (IDCM) capabilities. The built-in capabilities of Nlyte 11.5 allows infrastructure professionals to seamlessly integrate with Carrier’s Automated Logic Corporation WebCTRL software to provide better capacity management, more efficient energy utilization and improved uptime. Combined the two companies are helping joint customers deliver more “intelligent” infrastructure for supporting their mission critical applications.
Nlyte 11.5 also adds integration to public clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. By capturing information from these systems and combining it inside the Nlyte solution, organizations will be able to perform more effective migrations to and from public clouds while also gaining greater transparency and understanding of how much it costs to run workloads in given locations – allowing them to identify potential instances of greater efficiency.
This latest release of the Nlyte solution continues the journey to create a centralized and open data warehouse that captures data from an increasing number of data sources outside of Nlyte. This enables customers to access, leverage, and make available this information within whatever reporting system or tools their organizations’ have standardize on. This not only prevents organizations from getting locked into proprietary reporting tools offered by other legacy DCIM providers, but it enables them to take advantage of leading purpose-built reporting systems while eliminating the need for personnel to learn new tools.
“As the first software company to provide seamless communication between data center management processes and IT operations, Nlyte has continually incorporated ever more integration points into its solutions,” said Rob Neave, Co-Founder and CTO for Nlyte. “This latest release raises the bar to help organizations manage their evolving hybrid digital infrastructure - whether they are integrating more closely with their critical infrastructure or are leveraging public clouds.”
